Linear Corp Bhd has decided not to appeal Bursa Malaysia’s rejection of its proposed regularisation plan. Therefore, this counter will be delisted on Wednesday(7 November 2012).
The Group is principally engaged as a Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) solution provider. Its activities are mainly confined to a single operating segment, namely the manufacture, sale and operation of cooling towers and district cooling plant.

The 8th Annual General Meeting(AGM) of icapital. biz Berhad, Malaysia’s only listed closed-end, will be held on 10 November 2012(Saturday) at Grand Prince Ballroom, Level 3 Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur No. 4 Jalan Conlay, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. The registration start at 8.00AM.
This is the first listed entity that have their AGM on weekend. At the end of AGM, there’ll be a Special Briefing by the Designated Person, Tan Teng Boo.

The Bank Negara Malaysia(BNM) has release a press statement yesterday on Update of investigations into companies suspected of conducting illegal investment schemes using gold.
Their investigation reveals that the companies suspected of conducting illegal investment schemes using gold had failed to keep proper records of transactions and many investors have not received their gold even paid for it.
Some of the investors still didn’t get any gold as promised even after paying for more than five months.
The press statement didn’t reveal the actual companies name that involved however BNM promise to update the public with further information in due course.
